A lawyer since 1 January 1993, Bertrand WAMBEKE graduated top of his class from Bar School and was also a prizewinner in the Young Bar Conference public-speaking competition. Co-founder of W-LEGAL, he advises companies and stakeholders in the sports sector on their legal issues with a pragmatic and accessible approach. A certified specialist in employment law and a recognised practitioner in sports law, he believes that law should be a tool serving clients rather than an additional source of complexity. In employment law, he advises and assists companies and executives on employment relations, contracts, Employment Tribunal litigation, URSSAF audits and social protection matters. In sports law, he advises clubs, federations, athletes and agents on the legal aspects of their activities. His commitment to the legal profession has also led him to play an active role within the Lille Bar, where he has been elected several times as a member of the Bar Council.
